Withdrawal and cancellation

Last updated 1 October 2026

Your free trial

The 14-day trial requires no card and never converts into a paid plan by itself. You may stop using and uninstall Prots at any time. Existing Open Beta access keeps its original terms, including at least 30 days' notice before general beta access ends.

Future paid access

Payment is not currently offered. Any future paid checkout must state the price, renewal and cancellation terms, trader identity, and binding total before an order is placed. Beta participation alone cannot create a charge.

EEA consumer withdrawal

If you are an EEA consumer, you generally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. If you expressly ask for the digital service to begin during that period, applicable law may allow a proportionate charge for service already supplied. A loss of the withdrawal right for digital content requires the legally prescribed express consent and acknowledgement. Checkout must capture any such request separately; silence or a pre-ticked box is not consent.

How to withdraw

Send an unambiguous statement identifying you, the order, and your decision to withdraw to the contact email or postal address above, or the seller identified at checkout. You may use the model wording: “I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for Prots, ordered on [date], name [name], address [address], date [date].” No special form is required.

Refund timing

Where a refund is due, it will be made using the original payment method and within the period required by applicable law. Mandatory remedies for non-conforming digital services remain separate.
