End-User License Agreement

Last updated 1 October 2026

1. License grant

Subject to the Terms of Use and a valid entitlement, the licensor grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Prots IntelliSense on up to two Windows devices for personal or internal business work during the entitlement period.

2. Local operation and your data

Autocomplete, candidate ranking, and learned workflow state operate locally. You remain responsible for the content on your PC, permissions to process workplace material, backups, and reviewing every completion before accepting it. The license service receives only the data described in the Privacy Notice.

3. Restrictions

You may not distribute or sublicense the software or license key; remove ownership notices; circumvent device or entitlement controls; or decompile, disassemble, or reverse engineer it, except where mandatory law or the applicable third-party licence permits it. These restrictions do not limit the rights described in section 4.

4. Updates, third-party components, and feedback

Prots may install or offer compatibility and security updates. It includes third-party software, models, and datasets governed by their own licences, identified in the third-party notices supplied with the installation. Those licences take precedence over this agreement for the materials they cover. This agreement does not restrict any rights they grant to use, copy, modify, redistribute, reverse engineer, or obtain source material. See the accompanying notices for the applicable terms and any source-access instructions.

If you voluntarily provide feedback, the licensor may use it to improve Prots without taking ownership of your pre-existing material.

5. Suspension and termination

The license ends when trial, open-beta, or paid access ends. Writing assistance pauses; your other apps and saved local data are not changed. It may be suspended for credential compromise, fraud, harmful use, or a material breach, with notice and a chance to remedy where appropriate and legally required. On termination, stop using and uninstall the Prots application. Rights granted independently under third-party licences remain governed by those licences.

6. Warranty and mandatory rights

Prots may contain defects. Trial access is supplied for evaluation. This does not limit statutory conformity, update, repair, price-reduction, termination, damages, or other rights that cannot be waived for consumers or under applicable law.
